Technetium 99 metastable, 99mTc, is the clinically most widely used radionuclide worldwide, with column chromatography using alumina as a stationary phase, the separation technique of the 99Mo - 99mTc par excellence. In the present work, the kinetics and the adsorption mechanism of the activated acid alumina-molybdenum system are evaluated under a batch system at pH = 3.0 and at room temperature (20 ± 1°C) using 99Mo as a radiotracer. The Lagergren equations (pseudo first order), Ho (pseudo second order) and Elovich were selected to evaluate the behavior of the kinetics of the process; with the equation Ho as the one that best describes it. studied by the intraparticle diffusion and the liquid ion equations, being the latter those which defines it best.
