Nine different coins from different countries were analyzed by Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence. Quantitative contents of metals were determined by using the QXAS Elemental Sensitivities method. Compositions of coins made up of homogeneous alloys were accurately determined, unlike those made up of a core with a coated surface of another metal or alloy. It was determin ommon used material for the coin manufacturing.
